CDF Training offers quantitative fit testing to help ensure employees are properly fitted for the respirators required on the job. The fit test itself takes less than 2 minutes per mask once the individual is ready for testing. A medical evaluation is required and must be passed before the fit test can be performed. We test a variety of respirators, with the primary mask lines including 3M variants, Honeywell variants, and Scott SCBA masks. Fit testing is required before initial use, at least annually, and anytime the respirator make, model, style, or size changes.
